Wade Weissmann Architecture Grows Its Presence In Southern California, Names Leader of the California Office

Andrew Petrovsky, newly appointed leader of the WWA California office

Santa Barbara, CA — As the founder and principal of Wade Weissmann Architecture, (WWA), Wade has spent the last twenty years designing classically inspired estates of many genres around the world. His firm’s work has been highly praised for its fine attention to craftsmanship and design detail, and for lending homeowners a feeling of resort living, right at home. Wade Weissmann Architecture has offices in Milwaukee, Santa Barbara, and Pittsburgh, and will be growing their presence in Nashville soon. Currently, Wade, along with his Executive Business Strategist Kate Rasmussen, are fostering growth in the Southern California market. In addition to both Wade and Kate spending more time in the region and overseeing their Southern California projects, a new full-time contact and leader of the California office has been selected, Andrew Petrovsky.

Andrew, who has been with WWA since 2016, received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame. He minored in Anthropology, with a historic preservation concentration. His studies took him abroad to Rome, Italy and Mumbai, India. Prior to joining WWA, Andrew held internships in Southern California, after which, he gained experience as an urban design fellow, urban designer and finally as an owner, consultant with his eponymous urban and architectural design firm.

In his current role at WWA, he is a licensed California architect, managing several projects and overseeing their development from initial design engagement through completion of construction. His experience includes extensive project management, coordination and communication with clients.

Having worked on projects across the United States and abroad, Andrew has developed an understanding of architecture in a cultural, placemaking context and hopes to continue to bring this perspective to the field and to the California office. He says, “My passion for the field is all-encompassing, from studying historical precedents to keeping tuned into the latest construction and design innovations and techniques.” It is because of Andrew’s passion for the field and his work in the Southern California region, that Wade felt he was the right pick to lead their California office. Says Wade, “We are eager to see Andrew’s drive and skillset hard at work in our Southern California office. We know he will continue to do great things.”
