New Marketing Director at Herzog Wine Cellars

Herzog Wines Cellars, an award-winning wine producer, announces Jenny Guy as its new director of marketing and public relations. In this role, Guy will manage the winery’s marketing department, overseeing paid, owned and earned media strategy, community and trade relations, branding and creative output, as well as the ideation and execution of marketing campaigns for Herzog and its onsite, fine-dining restaurant, Tierra Sur.

Prior to Herzog, Guy served as director of communications for Mustang Marketing, Ventura County’s largest, full-service marketing agency. In this capacity, Guy was responsible for the agency’s communications team, working directly with clients to produce all forms of marketing copy, perform crisis management, and cultivate PR strategies and media relations.

Guy’s proficiency in marketing and brand communications stems in part from her four years as marketing director of Vapur, a reusable water bottle brand. As an early hire of Vapur, Guy developed grassroots marketing initiatives to establish a credible public image, drive sales and foster a loyal following. These combined efforts eventually helped to transform the startup water bottle brand into an international, multimillion-dollar company.

Guy earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies, with an emphasis in public relations and advertising, from California Lutheran University. She is also a recent graduate of the Ventura County Leadership Academy and co-chair of the Public Relations Society of America Gold Coast Chapter’s young professionals club.
